patch. The photo was taken on 19 January 1972 at a Skylab "open house" press day at the NASA Manned Spacecraft Center (now Johnson Space Center). The photo opportunity took place in the Mission Simulation and
Training facility.
This image is part of a photo in a McDonnell Douglas brochure dated 1972. It shows the Skylab 3 (II) crew wearing the patch on their flight suits.
